Creating a PayPal Button

Step 1

Log in to your PayPal account, and then click the "Merchant Services" tab.

Step 2

Click the link for the button type appropriate for your purposes; you'll find several buttons under the "Choose a button type" heading.

Step 3

Enter in the required information for your button type. Fields followed by "(optional)" are not required. Still, these fields provide customization options that might be of interest.

Step 4

Click the "Create Button" button.

Step 5

Click the "Select Code" button. Press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys simultaneously to copy the selected code.

Inserting the Button Into Blogger

Step 1

Log into Blogger, and click the "Design" button for your blog.

Step 2

Click the "Add a Gadget" link. Click the "HTML/JavaScript" link under the Basics section heading.

Step 3

Click into the "Content" field. Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys on your keyboard simultaneously to paste in the code from PayPal. Click the "Save" button to save your gadget.

Step 4

Click the "Save" button to save your changes. To check your work, click the "View Blog" link to see your PayPal button.
